I have been practicing counseling since 2002, working with a wide variety of people from many different cultures, exploring issues such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, relationship problems, adjustment to change, career exploration, terminal illness etc.
My goal as a counselor has always been to try and understand what clients’ wants and needs are in therapy, and to help them develop ways to achieve their therapeutic goals, in a safe and confidential environment. I believe in empowering people by helping them see their own personal strengths and understand their limitations in order to grow into healthy, happy individuals.
I have lived in the UK, Cyprus, the United States and the Netherlands.
Academically, I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis.
